Bug Fix
New — The Cauldron
- Added the Cauldron mechanic — appears on the map after Wave 10 on all campaign missions.
- Toss any item into the Cauldron to receive a random replacement of the same rarity tier.
- Legendary items can only be exchanged for other Legendaries. The Cauldron never downgrades.
- Cauldron has a 3-use limit per run. Uses do not refresh between waves.

New Items (8)
- Venom Bow (Epic) — Shots apply Poison stack; 5 stacks trigger a burst of 50 poison damage.
- Emerald Bow (Epic) — Each kill grants +2% attack speed, stacking up to 40%.
- Ultra Vision Goggles (Epic) — +35% range, reveals stealth enemies within radius.
- Pumpkin King (Legendary) — On kill: 15% chance to spawn a mini-pumpkin that deals 80 AoE damage.
- Ivy Bow (Rare) — Root on hit, 0.8s duration.
- Stone Hammer (Rare) — AoE knockback slam every 8 hits.
- Ember Staff (Uncommon) — +12% fire damage, burns ground tiles for 3s.
- Tin Shield (Common) — +8 armor to equipped tower.
Balance
- Wand of Lightning: Chain damage reduced from 75% to 65% per bounce.
- Healer Aura: Heal tick rate reduced from 1.5s to 2.0s (effective HPS unchanged due to increased heal amount).
- Archer — Lone Ranger: Bonus reduced from +25% to +20% damage when isolated. Radius check increased from 3 to 4 tiles.
- Defender — Shield Wall: Damage reduction increased from 18% to 22%.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed Venom Bow stacks persisting after a tower is sold and replaced.
- Fixed Cauldron UI clipping off-screen on 4:3 aspect ratios.
- Fixed item tooltip text overflowing on items with long ability descriptions.

- Fixed the Shield Orb infinite exploit — selling and re-buying a tower while Shield Orb was active would reset the orb's cooldown. Cooldown is now tied to the item slot, not the tower instance.
- Fixed Bay Harbour Butcher catapults spawning simultaneously instead of with a staggered 4s delay.
- Fixed Healer aura radius tooltip showing 3.5 tiles instead of the correct 4.0 tiles.
Quality of Life
- Added Manual Level-Up Control (opt-in via Settings > Gameplay). When enabled, towers do not automatically use XP to level up — you confirm each level-up manually.
- Wave timer now displays seconds remaining instead of a progress bar.
- Item descriptions now show the rarity tier color in the tooltip header.

- Shield Orb: Cooldown increased from 12s to 18s to compensate for the exploit fix.

- Fixed a crash in Endless Mode occurring consistently at Wave 50+ when more than 3 Legendary items were active simultaneously.
- Fixed minor performance drops during large wave spawns on lower-end hardware.
- Fixed Healer aura radius tooltip showing incorrect value (3.5 instead of 4.0 tiles).
- Fixed UI element overlap in the item selection screen when playing at 1280×720 resolution.
